Raku Pagoda Box

This little box measures 2.5" x 4" x 4.5". The top, body and ends were extruded then fabricated. The glaze is predominately Gerstley's Borate with some kaolin with and over-spray of vanadium. The post firing reduction was in newsprint and pine needles. I don't remember what clay I used for this piece, but I think it was an Iron bearing stoneware. It belongs to the Web Master. I think she may keep a little whip in there. I'm happy it is getting used. It is one of my favorite pieces.
