The wood and bamboo tools offered here are individually hand shaped, formed and finished. Each is unique. Dimensions shown are approximate and are dictated by the original character of the raw materials. The actual size, shape and color varies slightly from tool to tool due to the fact that they are not created on an assembly line from stock materials. Unless otherwise noted, all wood tools are sanded and treated with Danish or tung oil and wax. The bamboo tools are untreated.
These tools are crafted from hand selected domestic and tropical species. We are committed to helping protect the environment and the woods used to make these tools are recycled cut-offs from a local mill rather than dimensioned pieces. Therefore, availability of specific wood and bamboo species varies. Availability and quality of these cut-offs impacts the size and price of certain tools.
With all tool orders, once completed, I will email you a digital photo of the finished tools. No tools will be mailed to you with out your pre-approval.
All orders are sent via U.S. Postal Service. Please specify First Class (minimum $5.00) or Priority Service (minimum $8.00).

All trimming tools are fashioned from O-1 tool steel, oil hardened and tempered. These tools should not be sharpened on a high speed, motor driven grinder or the temper will be destroyed. Occasional hand sharpening with a fine grade mill file or honing block will keep them sharp.
